David joined the lab when we moved to Stanford University. He defined the regulatory regions of the IL-2 gene, and with J.P. Shaw discovered the NF-AT transcription complex in 1987. David made the IL-2 luciferase plasmids in 1987 that have been distributed to thousands of laboratories worldwide. He went from our lab to the University of Vermont and is now a Professor at Stonybrook.
