Roger developed a general method for synthesis of inhibitors to almost any protein based on the concept of borrowing the surface of endogenous proteins using synthetic small molecules. This approach is now in use by several biotech companies in an effort to make inhibitors of established therapeutic targets. Roger is presently a staff scientist at Advanced Medicine.
